Anyone know what changes and modifications need to be made to a 1992 Brougham with a 5.7 engine? I'm thinking of buying one from the US but I understand sometimes expensive mods need to be made to bring it to Canadian standards.

Is this something a dealer could fill me in on?

Anyone have any idea how to find out?

The local GM dealer should be able to tell you. My guess would be adding the DRL's (not sure what year Canada added them) but for emissions I am fairly sure US and Canada are the same.

It should be a slam dunk to bring it across the border, I can't imagine much if any mods needed.

If you find out, post! We all wanna know (ok, I do at least...)

I too feel like it would be a slam dunk. I'll go to a local dealer and find out and let you know for sure. And if I bring one over, I'll explain the whole sordid story!
