'91 Operating Temp. Range

I think my 91 is running hot. How do you go about checking the temp? I've done it through the ECC for coolant temp but I don't remember how I did it and I'm not clear on whether the coolant temp can be considered the same as the engine temp. (My sense tells me yes)

Also, can anyone tell me or point me to a thread detailing how one would go about installing a temperature gauge inside the car that looks good. i.e. Not a sore thumb to the instumentation panel.

parameter p.0.4 is the coolant temp. Start the car, press off and warmer on the climate control, Then press "lo" then cycle up to p.0.4 using either hi or lo. parameter range is -40 to 151 C.

No idea how to install a gauge in the car
At 75 F outdoors, I'm running between 94 - 101 C. Fan kicks on at 101 and brings it down to 94 C. Sound about right or am I running hot?

Hopefully someone else knows for sure, but that sounds about right to me. My fans are messed up so they never shut off, Since they started messing up i have never seen it get above 96 with ambient temps in the 70s.

I think people have mentioned normal temps in a few other treads ir i recall
dabeastro1 is right. Don't be alarmed to see higher temps w/ AC & hot weather.
T-stat opens fully at 104C and the fans are commanded to high speed at
106C.
