On a 1990 Fleetwood does anyone have a hint about how to get the accelerator cable fitting out of the firewall? From the inside it doesn't look like it has any "wings" to squeeze together. I've tried twisting, pulling, everything I can think of short of taking a mini torch and melting it out. It doesn't help that it's difficult to access inside because of the sound insulation and behind the anti-lock system on the engine side.
