Hello,

I am about to purchase an 88 Seville from my uncle. About a year ago my uncle gave the car to my little brother and there have been problem as soon as he got it. My little brother did not value the car so I offered to buy it. This is going to be my project car. I want to revive this car, give it a modern engine, and give it a new radio. Those are my top priorities; to get it running and a modern radio. After that I'll repaint. I don't want to revamp the car but more just give it a 30 year catch up. I learned how to drive using this vehicle. It would be a shame to let this car die because my uncle had this car for years and it worked fine.

How you go about upgrading the radio depends on weather or not it has a Bose system.

No modern engine will swap in. The best you could do is a 4.9, which it would have came with in '91.
