88 Sedan Deville front window removal

Removing the driver side glass was easy because the triangular shaped guides were both laying in the bottom of the door and the regulator slide was broken in two disengaging it. The passenger side had the regulator slide broken so its not a problem. Removing the front guide channel allowed the disengagement of the front guide. The rear guide is the problem. The guide is located about 2" from the top of the glass. With the glass all the way down against the lower stop, the guide is about 2" up in the guide channel. There is no way to maneuver the glass to remove the slide from the channel and no visible way of removing the channel. The slide snaps together through a hole in the glass and trapped in the channel. How does one remove the glass?
