While i was driving the other day, my 88 deville died..Everything Went off like the battery got disconnected then came back on then went off again..I turned the key and nothing happened...no lights,sounds,nothing..Cleaned the connections and replaced the battery and it started right up..Moved it to the other side of my driveway didnt have any problems..except antifreeze dripping at the heater control valve and smoking when it dripped on something..Could it have been a computer problem that could fix itself?

Might just had been a bad or loose connection to your battery

Best to keep testing it or try to repeat the problem. Hard to advise with limited info on what happened.

As for the Anti-Freeze, if I remember the design right its dripping down by the exhaust pipe / rear manifold. As hot as that can get, you could fry a full course meal on it and still melt your hand off.
