I recently purchased a 1985 Fleetwood Brougham d'elegance from my Girlfriend's father. He hadn't driven it in about a year. (However, all was fine the day he parked it.) After charging the battery I tried to start it with no luck. The motor turned over fine, but it would not fire and run. I siphoned all the gas i could out of the tank, and put 10 gallons of premium in there, along with some fuel stabilizer to take care of the remaining bad gas; changed the fuel filter, and the spark plugs. For all this I was rewarded with the car running for approximately two minutes and then dying out. Now it is back to turning over with now fire. Any advice?

Check fuel pressure.
The fuel pump sock may have sucked into the pump.

Buy a spark tester at any auto parts store and use it.

Awaiting more data. :burn:
