What's up everybody?! I joined a while back but never introduced myself... sorry. I was very happy to see that a Cadillac Forum even existed though. I've had my Caddy ever since I started driving and I've been through quite a bit with her. She's all good right now tho, just dealing with regular maintenance issues and other things that go wrong after 20 years. Feel free to check my ride out at: http://members.cardomain.com/84eldorado. Do we have any other 79-85 Eldorados out there on this forum?

Oh yeah, one more thing... the Woodward Dream Cruise is coming up THIS weekend in Michigan. Anybody in the area going? Maybe we can get a whole "Caddy Forum Crew" to roll down there. Just an idea... I'm sure there's not that many caddy drivers on the forum from MI, huh?

Well, once again, it's nice to finally introduce myself to everybody...

ciao :)

Hey man, I'm leaving friday for Michigan in my 97 seville from boston. I'm going to niagara falls, crossing through to CANADA in sarnia, back into the states at Port Huron...then I'll be crusing through Flint, Cadillac, Pontiac, on the way up to Traverse City. What town are you in and where is the event.

Thanks for all the comments guyz and gal ;) You guyz are right though, Sal replied within a minute or less! You must have an alarm go off when a newbie joins the group, huh Sal?

Anywayz, what's up AirJigga25... the Woodward Dream Cruise is HUGE in Michigan!! There's a bunch of car shows on the sides of the street (Woodward), and there's about 8 lanes total, running north and south, of all kinds of cars rollin about 2mph if your lucky (that's not the sweet part necessarily). However, people are lined up on the sidewalks just to enjoy the view. I'd go just to check out all the other rides and to let other people see mine.

It's kinda out of your way though. You're going north, and the Dream Cruise is a little bit south. When you come into the US through Sarnia, you're on 69West. You take that into Flint till you hit I-75 then go South for about 50miles, on I-75, till you hit Big Beaver Rd exit #69, no joke... then take that west till you hit Woodward Ave. All you gotta do from there is cruise south. You'll see the cars almost immediately. It's really big when you get about 5 miles south of Big Beaver Rd, I think.

Well, there's the info if you're interested. Feel free to attend the festivities!
