78 Cadillac Deville Power Windows

I changed the latch on the driver's door of my '78 Deville. Nothing electric...just the latch. Don't know if there's any connection, but now the power windows don't work on any of the four doors. I've checked the circuit breaker and that's ok. This particular model has a safety switch somewhere on the car where the driver's door must be closed to operate windows. Any idea where that switch is?
Any other ideas? This is my work car and I need to get the windows fixed.
Thanks!

Welcome aboard..... Thanks for signing up

My best guess is that something either got disconnected, or you broke something during the latch replacement.........
All the windows operate through the master switch (the driver's switch) and there's the window lock switch to consider too. Chances are very good that one of these two is the culprit.

Maybe the window is stuck. I had a '78 Fleetwood once and the windows used to get stuck often. I used to just take a butter knife and pry the windows loose to get them going up and down again.
