New forum member and first time Caddy owner. Have the first of many questions about my 77CDV.
This is regarding the after market, Non-OE quarter panel to rear bumper fillers. I bought the complete set last year and am ready to install them.
They are a ridged plastic, opposed to the soft urethane OE ones. Question is, the OE fillers had a metal support on the inside lip where they attached to the quarter panel with bolts. Do I need to reuse these supports with the new ridged fillers? They seem strong enough not to need these supports. Any one had any experience with these replacements and could offer some advise?
BTW, I think the new redesigned website is a great improvement over the old.
