Ive been having my 76 fleetwood for a month now, just noticed that the exterior door handles have some kind of courtesy lights on them which is surprising.
Any ideas on how to change those bulbs?

That's illuminated entry ..
The bulbs are located inside of the doors, you've got to remove the door pads to access them.
It's a 194 bulb that's connected to a fiber optic, that snakes it way to the handle..no big deal to replace ...

How is that supposed to work?
It makes sense to take the door panels off, at the beginning i thought the bulb covers come off.

A fiber optic cable is black on the outer surface with clear ends. Placed up to a bulb, it reflects light to the other end. You might try popping the door courtesy light covers off to see if this cable plugs in there on the bezel. It works after a locked door handle is lifted up or the handle button is depressed. Once lifted, it shines light on the lock cylinder so at night you can find the cylinder to insert your key!

It is powered by a traditional bulb, but the bulb is an interior lamp bulb, that has a fiberoptic going from it to the keyhole.

Traditional bulb, just not where you thought it was.

The lens you see under the door handle is the housing for the end of the fiber optic cable that extends through the door to the inside door courtesy lamp. If you remove the lens from the door panel courtesy lamp, you should see the other end of the fiber optic cable attached to a clip and aimed at the bulb. If the lens under the door handle doesn't light up (and the system is otherwise working normally), the cable has become detached at one end or the other, or there is a break in it somewhere. The lamp monitors on the front fenders and over the rear window work on the same principle.
