Does anyone have any tips on what parts I should replace first. The cruise control is not totally broken, but works for a few for some rides and then you park the car for a while, start drving again and it does not work. Thanks.
Try this: check to make sure that the linkage is moving freely. I had a issue where the cable connecting the rubber bellows to the throttle cable was sticking. There is a component in the linkage that includes on peice sliding within another. I noticed that when I pressed the rubber bellows in there was a clicking sound as the two peices of the afore mentioned linkage seperated or slid. The Cruise Control would then work again temporaily. A little WD-40 cleaned it up.
