Hello,
I just bought a 1976 Cadillac Eldorado Convertible. I searched the forums but did not see any posts for adding keyless entry and push button start for older Cadillacs. Has anyone done either or both of these? There appear to be lots of solutions for keyless entry ranging in price $40 to $200. I am not sure if pushbutton start can be added since it is a column mounted key.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Steve

Column mounted key would not be a problem, but is it fuel injected?
If not that may be a problem.

If it's a nice, original car consider keeping it original. Add-ons like keyless entry, big wheels, or gold trim just devalue the car.

Instead, spend the money on bringing up the condition of the car. You'll be way ahead financially and you'll save a nice car from needless trauma.
