I wanted to see if anyone had any experiences with rebuilt Quadrajets done by United or Autoline. My carb is getting sloppy and these seem to be reasonably priced.

A search on Yahoo Puts United at 4 out of 5 stars with one bad review and three good reviews. Autoline has one star with one bad review and a reply back from the company inviting the reviewer to come back to make things right.

Do they replace the float? Do they install bushings in the throttle shaft holes where the shaft passes thru the carb. casting? Do they seal the well plugs in the throttle plate? Do they install an ethanol proof accelerator pump?

Alot of times you can find local shops who will do the work for a better price and be able to give you a heads up on what it is they are going to do
