I am looking for a 6 CD Magazine for a factory CD Changer I will be installing it in my 02 Deville. I don't want to pay a whole lot for one of these magazines so what are other magazines that will work in this uni that are cheaper? I wish my 12 disc magazine would work.

You can install your 12 Disk CD changer (if you have one).

Are you saying that the 12 Disc Magazine would work in the 6 disc CD changer? I have an aftermarket alpine that has a controller on it using FM modulation and I want the factory unit so I can have it integrated to the Nav unit I put in there. I was just wondering what aftermarket magazines were compatible with the factory 6 disc. I bought one for 35 bucks and the magazine for 44 some I've seen were like 10 to 20 and those were the ones that I was wondering if they were compatable.

NO I did not said that, obviously a 12 disk magazine won't work in a 6 disk changer. I was saying to replace the whole unit.
Now since you mentioned (and I kind of remember) you install a NAV unit, then forget about the 12 Disk unit, won't work. The NAV unit use a special 6 disk CD changer, not the same as the regular 6 disk changer on the non NAV cars (different communication line).
I don't know anything about aftermarket, is no good so I don't pay attention to the subject.
Sure hope you have the correct OEM 6 Disk changer for the NAV unit PN25740088.
The non NAV 6 Disk CD changer was made based on some Kenwood, Pioneer, Matsushita (not sure exactly) unit and word was on the street that the 6 disk magazine from some aftermarket model was compatible with the OEM. This is long time ago so is all a blur in my memory.

I guess I got lucky again, I had no idea they were different from nav to regular bose. The Cd Changer has the part number you posted above and actually think its from the same donor car as my Nav came out of. The nav unit I got for 100 bucks because the screen wouldn't open but afrter reprogrammed worked like new now a 35 dollar cd changer wish I could get a deal like that on an engine.
