Does anyone have any actual confirmation on how the private offer process works? For a long time people sort of said "wait and see," and the discussion kind of lapsed.

Lately, I've heard people say that if your name is on the manifest lists, you have the offer. Is that true? Or is the offer list a separate list (which I thought was the case, tbh)?

I ask because if the list is actually confirmed to be out there, a lot of us need to be reaching out with our dealers to confirm things. Else, if the list isn't public yet, I'd like to know so we don't demand dealers provide information about something they don't know. I think it would also be helpful info for those who may have been falsely told the offer is guaranteed.

This has been covered below. But you won't have any confirmation of how things works until someone completes a 2024 purchase, and that will be awhile. Some uncertainty if it may also apply to 2023 purchases - those should be starting soon.

So, this indicates only 2024 Lyriq customers with a 2023 order. Doesn't that disagree with your manifest list, where you mentioned that your 2023 allocated customers were also on the list to receive the offer?

I pulled the two people who are getting 2023 RWD units. My info shows that they are still on the manifest list for the private offer. Fingers crossed that this holds true.

No, but I am assuming it will show like any other customer cash rebate on the buyer's order- MY24 MSRP at the top, and then a line for the $5k rebate from Detroit towards a reduction in purchase price.

I emailed my dealer when they reached out to convert to MY24 and specifically asked if I appeared on "either the Part 1 or Part 2 Manifest Lists" and he seemed to know what I was talking about and was able to reply back with a confirmation that I was on the list. I think that's about all the confirmation you can get at this time. I think the later Part 3/4 lists have also come out but my understanding is those lists are not a lot of people and most are on Part 1/2 if eligible.

Is connected showroom where we pre-ordered online through the Cadillac website? So if a customer placed the pre-order, but the dealer just kept a local list of "orders" instead of entering the pre-orders into the order work bench before November 30, 2022, the customer will not get the private offer? I fear that might have been what happened with my dealer. I didn't get my email from Cadillac with my 6 letter order number until January 2023.

Dealer has to do it. Nothing that the customer could have done. If the dealer didn't enter the orders you'll miss out on the $5k.

Did Lockhart enter all of their '23 waitlisted orders in showroom?

For the most part. I still think Cadillac set pre determined allocation numbers early on. We hit our max for both stores in May. That's what the lists show and confirm.

i somehow missed this thread until today and i just fired off an email to my salesman-who-never-knows-anything-until-I-tell-him, so fingers crossed that i’m on one of those lists.
