Hey Guys new to this community and with Classic Cadillacs.
So my dad has a 1946 Cadillac and wants to throw in a 454 Engine and transmission from a 90s Silverado.
Wanted to know if anyone has knowledge on what to expect from this swap, and what I would need to alter Thank you for your time .

I'm sure there are more qualified people on here, but if you are building a hot rod my guess would be: motor mounts, transmission, drive line, and rear axle to start.

It's basically a start-from-scratch approach to everything - fuel, air, electrical, mechanical. YOU are the designer/fabricator. No aftermarket parts or probably even advice.

Like the time I put a 1935 Ford V8-60 flathead in a 1953 MG-TD. Everything was home-made.
