425 engine with a 501 intake vacuum routing

Hello everyone. This is my first time to ask for help. Ihave a 73 caddy and it had a 500 in it but I bought it with a blown 500, These people were gonna crush it, OMG. so I saved it and I went to a local salvage yard and I thought I got another 500 but turned out after I got in it the car that it was a 425.Had to switch some parts to make it work, I wasn't about to take it out after I put all new gasket on it, heads, intake, oil pan, new oil pump, etc. so anyway I got it in , then I had the wrong heads on , note: 500 heads DO NOT work on a 425 block, next I had to have to carb, rebuilt and finally it runs, but I can not figure out where all the vacuum lines go. some are missing, etc. where is all the wiring go. I have the altern. wired I think. any suggestions

Re: vacuum lines

help[!!!!!]. I am in desparate need of where these stupid vacuum lines go. I have a 425 engine with a 501 intake. It runs but needs lines and wiring(some) hooked up. I plugged all the ports on the carb. and yes it does run. need help with lines, vac. brakes, power steering. it all works but about half.

Yes, just chill out and someone that knows about the swap will chime in.

When I swapped a '68 472 intake manifold on my '79 425, it was pretty painless, only 1 or 2 holes on the intake had to be plugged... and the engine lost EGR.

BTW It is a 500 CID engine... not 501..... 501 is a sticker ;)
I just went through what you did, I kept the old 500 intake though, maybe put the 500 intake back on, I also took off all the smog hoses, and plugged some carb stuff, but all I had to hook up is the brake vac, vac adv, trans downshift, and air cleaner. Hopefully this helps. Thanks
