I have a 93 Allante and have had a few Cadi's in the family over the years, my question is, do the new 4.6L N*s require premium fuel? Luckily my Allante doesn't get driven all that much but it sure hurts to pay a $0.30 premium on fuel at the pumps. BTW, am considering new STS or SRX so just curious.

I have noticed if you run Regular in it they will not idle. You get a bump while sitting at the lights. I can not stand it, but I do not daily drive mine either, so spending a little more once or twice a month does not bother me.

The only price break in gasoline prices is with premium fuel. In my area,
the best gas was 20 cents more when gasoline was $1.50 per gallon.
Now when regular is $3.00 the price for the best is $3.20 so it is
still only 20 cents more, while the intermediate fuel is 10 cents more.
