Looking at replacing my 200k+ 2010 Chevy Malibu 2.4l. Im very interested a used 3rd gen CTS (2014-2015) as it is a gorgeous car and from what I heard decent in reliability terms. I just want to hear what owners have to say about it. I dont plan on driving the car past 150k.

2014 - 2015 are fine. 2016+ not so much. I've had a 2014 Lux for 5 years & 51000 miles. Never been in the shop except for routine maint and a CUE replacement under warrranty

So not that bad. I've heard that the 2016+ models have electrical issues as well as transmission problems. I would like to get a 2014-15 cts with the 3.6 LFX. But I would settle with the 2.0L if I got a good deal on it. What kind of maintenance did you do on it and was it expensive?

Dealership experience is abysmal. If you have the expertise and equipment to maintain your own Cadillac go for it. If not stay as far away from Cadillac as you possibly can.
