So basically im in Duquesne University but every once in awhile i stop by my old HS to pick up my lil sis and see my best friend whos a senior. At the HS is a preppy kid whos mommy and daddy gives him everythin he wants. The day the ipod video came out he had one etc... you get the idea. So his car is a Newer Chrysler 300 C with a Hemi Motor. Well everyday ive seen this kid leave, and everytime when he pulls out of the lot onto the HS main drive he spins his tires smokein them thinkin hes reasl hot shit. So today ive had about enough of him and decided i wasnt lettin this C shut down my ETC anymore. He went to leave and i gunned it right after him. He kept floorin it pullin ahead to till he was kissin the bumper of the car infront of him then hed left off drift back and do it again. Only this time he let off drifted back punched it and i did the same (i do not reccomend nor condone what i did next) i pulled into the oncoming traffic lane flew right by the kid. Then cut back into my lane in front of the C. So now that the kids been bested what does he do start riding my ass. I SLAMED the brakes then immediatly floored the gas. He braked and cut his wheel. Musta been scared shitless cuz from then on in the kid kept a good 3 car lenghts between me and him. I think from now he'll be a lil more aprehensive when wanting to show off his sedan.

Ummmm, had it been a real race, the Hemi 300C would massacre your ETC

1997 Cadillac Eldorado ETC:
0-60: 6.8
1/4 Mile: 15.2 @ 94mph

2004 Chrysler 300C Hemi:
0-60: 5.6
1/4 mile: 14.1 @ 99 mph

That 15.2 number you keep quoting ILC8792 is .5s slower than the mag times I've seen from a 95 ETC. And I know a 97 isn't gonna be that much slower than a 95, I'd expect another 14.7 out of a 97. 14.1 is a bit optomistic for the 300C and while I could see it happening most are a couple tenths slower.

The 300C is still gonna be a bit faster but it sure isn't 1.1s faster. A 50 shot should take care of him and a 75 shot should get you a car or two on him.

After I dyno my car I'm probably going to run a dual stage 75/125 or 150 shot, seeing how I'm guessing I'm already down over 60hp due to my redonkulous altitude. I wouldn't go over 100 near sea level.

14.1 for a 300C is kinda slow. Most 300C owners are hitting high 13's in stock trim
Say WHAT?!
You forget the MOPAR drag day we went to recently? I sure don't remember any stock Hemi cars doing 13's that day, and it was cold as hell out. Stock Hemi cars were all mid to low 14's as I recall, with an emphasis on the "MID".

I dont know how valid the number's I've gotten are. I got them off www.car-stats.com They said they got the 6.8/ 15.2 out of the February 1998 Issue of Car and Driver. On that same site, they say a '95 ETC will run a 6.6 and 14.8, but it doesnt say where they got the times.

How many 300's were there that day? The one's that were there were running with the bling bling 20"+ size wheels which suck for drag racing and the other was the SRT-8 300C. And it also helps that I've been a member of the SRTforums.com as well as 300cforums.com since both have opened up:yup:

So what?
Does the 300C run significantly different than the other Hemi cars like the Charger or Magnum? My guess is they're all comparable.
