Just thinking out loud, but the 2008 3.6 268 hp to 304 is not enough of a difference. Then in 2009 it goes to 556 in the v. Wish they made something around 380 hp. What if they put the 400hp from the v1 in the 2nd gen cts? That would of been perfect imo. I wish at least they threw in a updated n*. Then comes the 318 hp 3.6 which is no faster... They needed something Similar to bmws 328-335-m3. The 3.6 doesn't match the 335 or 535. I think they got it right now 2.0 vs 328 2.0 and tt3.6 vs bmw 335/535 /550 beating all in speed and price. I think that 5.7 or 6.0 should if been an option. What do you think?

Yes I agree, either a supercharger on the 3.6 or the 6.2 LS3 (same as camaro or corvette). For about $6K or so less then the LSA in the V. Would have filled in nicely, but I wonder how many more people would have purchased it and didn't buy any CTS available and bought something else instead because the 3.6 was too slow and the LSA (V) is "too much".

If I wasn't in a cold weather state I'd have a V instead of both a CTS and a Corvette (that i don't want to drive in the winter).
