Anybody rolling on 26 inch wheels? I've heard guys on 24's and the ride quality is still there. I'm looking for someone who is on 26's. Any feedback on what ride quality is. I'de like to hear before I buy. It's kind of difficult to resell these due to price, and I don't want to take a bath if I don't like them.
My 745 rolling on 22" Asanti's was horrible. I felt every single bump and sand pebble. But it's a different suspension.

Best size for the 2002 - 2006 Escalade is 24" wheels. Unless your Escalade is a complete show car, then don't put 26's on it. I don't think you will like the ride at all. 24's are definitely big and the ride quality is still there. It seems like the better choice.

Thanks.

I got 26's on my 02. It's an everyday driver, and a show car. I honestly have gotten used to the ride since i've had them for over a year and a half now. Mine are Forged Aluminum Oasis Magnums. But i agree with a previous statement that you should really only get them if it's not your everyday driver or plan on doing shows. The tires (kumho exsta) cost me 780 bux each, and plus i need front end alignment and mount. And not alot of people can do that. But honestly, when i switched from 24's to 26's i didnt notice that much of a difference in ride, and 26's just look so much cleaner than 24's, the only problem i had was that they scraped like hell. and on 780 dollar tires u dont want that to continue happening. Maybe because my truck is lowered. But if you get 26's be prepared to have problems, like scraping wheel well, wearing out brakes like crazy, and so on. Good luck on your choice, Hope you make the right decision. Heres my truck 26" wheels w/ 2/3" ground force drop. before i got the handles shaved.

How did you tint your corners on your headlights? I want to tint my headlights and tail lights when I have a chance and I have seen people do the headlights two ways. They either have this black outline that is around the lense or they tint the corner like you have yours. Any information would be great.

Thanks.

Well, i had the corner of my headlights painted. I know a painter, and he had no problem doing it. Also, I have had the truck in a few sound competitions. Before my alternator, extra amp, head unit etc. I hit a 143.2 ...and just today i got a new head unit which im in the process of putting pictures up. I got it tested at the shop and hit a 152.5 with the bass nob half way. The reason i went with the solo x, is because it's a show truck, and about 2 years ago when it came out I was intrigued by an 18" sub. Even today, people still ask me how big my sub is. Belive it or not it hits harder than many systems with 2-3 subs.

why not? kicker makes good products and the solo-x had really good ratings. Plus i got a hell of a deal at the time, the msrp on it was 1200, don't know if it's the same, but i only paid 600 for it. plus, everyone was normal "circular" subs. how many people can say they have an 18" square sub? :) hahahaha

Nice try. The member whom you quoted has not logged in for 12.5 years and this thread has (thankfully) been dead for almost 16 years.
