My wife just picked up a fully loaded 2025 XT4 and drove it back from the dealer which is about 3 hours away. I told her to not use cruise as it was better for breakin. Yesterday morning I went to try it out and noticed the Lane assist, adaptive cruise, parking sensors and blind spot detection are all not working. I also notice the crash avoidance icon on the dash is yellow. Called Onstar and they are clueless I then called the service dept at the selling dealer and they suggested disconnect the battery cable for 5 mins. That didn't fix it either. Any thoughts before I make appt for service?

Go through the vehicle settings and make sure they are all turned on (some can be disabled in settings, some can be disabled with the buttons under the climate control).

Long press the cruise button to switch between standard cruise and adaptive cruise.

It sucks that they don't include owners manuals anymore, but it is built into the infotainment system or in the myCadillac app

Update! Took the XT4 in on Friday and first the advisor says "you have it turned off and your windshield is dirty" I tell him no it doesn't work along with blindspot and also had just realized backup light not working. Asked were I bought it and they were not the dealer. Not getting a good feeling from thos guy. Anyway I get a call 2 hours later that they found the problem. The selling dealer when installing the factory supplied trailer hitch had to unplug a wiring harness after he installed the hitch he never reconnected the harness. Tech said there was over 400 codes in memory. Also said it was not warranty and would need to pay $448. I called my selling dealer that was 3 hour drive away and spoke to the sales manager and they said No Problem we will look after it. So I was feeling good that ot was that easy but today I was trying to check everything and I notice I could get the cruise to work the blind spot and the rear pedestrian alert to all work. When I get my wife to walk across the front of the car or creep up to the garage door nothing happens. I think the forward collision is still messed up. Any thoughts? Thank

If it was a reasonable charge I would let your local dealership take care of it, if for no other reason than avoiding a 6 hour round-trip drive. Also, the fact that they pulled a bonehead move like that would not make me feel warm and fuzzy about your selling dealer's techs. Not sure how re-connecting a wiring harness plug costs $448. There has to be more to it than that.

You might try giving the service manager at your local dealership a call (not the service writer, the manager), explain the situation, and see if there is anything he/she can do to make the price more reasonable.

Sorry Maybe I wasn't clear enough. The dealer in my hometown charged 2 hours to diagnose and find out what was wrong. He had a series of checks to do before he found the unplug harness, cleaned and hooked it back up, cleared the codes and reset parameters I was told.I called the selling dealer after I was told it wouldn't be warranty. The selling dealer Paid the bill right away without hesitation.

Yes PSL_XT4 The rear harness fixed the backup light, blind spot, cruise and lane keep assist. Not sure if the front sensor alerts ever worked as we have only had it about a week. When my wife walked across the front of the car the camera on the dash shows her but no alerts. Also when I pull up to the garage door no alert. Also no warning that Front Collision is unavailable which did show before it went in for the work. Maybe it is something the repair tech somehow disabled.
