Alright folks, I finally had my new rims and tires mounted today.
They are 22" Black Ice Nemesis Wheels wrapped in Falken FK-452s, size 255/30/22. I also had the calipers painted red. Surprisingly, the ride feels fairly similar to that of the stock 18"s though I've only driven it a few miles since mounting the wheels. I do notice a difference in stopping distance so I may need to purchase bigger brakes.

I could only take a few pics with my cell phone so I apologize for the poor quality. I'll be posting official pics of the wheels and my recently installed audio system this weekend.

I know the look isn't for everyone but I'm thrilled!!! :bouncy:

Not my style either. But, love that you did mod the car. Not enough of you 08 guys doin' that. 22's were a great choice. 20's look to small unless you lower it. NICE.

Thanks for the comments thus far though I guess its safe to say that we have different tastes. I for one could not be happier with the purchase but I do recognize that there are different strokes for different folks. Next up is the intake from D3, the ground effects kit from Vogue and a custom grill.

Any problems with rubbing so far with the 22's? Any curb rash?
Rubbing: I have not noticed any rubbing so far. I can turn the all the way left and right without issue.

Curb Rash: I'm hoping that the larger tire size (255/30/22) will help prevent curb rash. However, it ultimately comes down to driving carefully on these rough Jersey City roads.

Anyway, I took a quick pic this morning before heading out to work.

Thanks prhynce. The total came out to just under $2,500. I wasn't sure about the red caliper either but decided to take a chance. I wasn't sure if I liked the look when I first saw it and was considering having them painted black. But the look has grown on me. It looks especialy nice when the wheels are in motion. Can't wait to get her washed.

Does anyone have any recommendations as to the best place to get the Vogue ground effects kit in NJ or the tri-state area? Also, is there a difference in the quality of the Vogue kit vs. E&G? Thanks.
