2023 XT6 Purchase question

It means the wiring and plugin for a trailer connection is finished and provided. You should find the plugin beside the hitch receiver. Remove the cover over the receiver, it should be right there. It's a fixed/mounted plugin connection, not a "wire tail."

I had checked and the plugin is there, so good to go. I have had other cars with tow packages and you got a adaptor, so I thought I had better be sure.

If my memory is correct, the smart tow connector is a 7 pin, which will work for trailers equipped with electric brakes. If you need to tow a trailer that uses inertia brakes, you’ll need an adapter that converts the 7 pin to the standard 4 pin that just powers the trailer lights.
