My understanding is that it needs to be pressed each time you start the vehicle. Same as the stupid auto stop button. Can’t turn on AVH unless your seatbelt is buckled though. Lol. But those are the first things I do ever time I get in. I’m a bit OCD…but I get in, turn on AVH, turn off auto stop, then turn heat seater on, and then massage. I don’t even think about it anymore. Haha.

 

If your seat massage is on and you save seat settings that part will be saved too. I know this because I don't the opposite of you. I have made the mistake of saving seat setting with massage running, and it then kicks in every time I start the car. I don't know if other settings such as heat/cool or AVH also save to the driver settings or not, but massage definitely does and it's worth a shot for the others.

 

I’m sure there’s a hack for it on the way. Yes, it’s an American thing to prevent frivolous lawsuits. It took until 07 in our 02 6MT allroad to get a SW tool for removing the US only “Are you sure you want to” warning on the Navi on each start up.

LOL that same SW update made a TV tuner / DVD in motion available as well as speech dialogue and integrated BT. I’m sure there’s a lot of wealthy Europeans losing their lives watching James Bond movies with cars exploding while driving off cliffs

Hi Folks! I took delivery on my 2022 Escalade with the premium luxury package on 3-31-22. Took it on a road trip recently and seems like I can't browse the music on my phone. I keep getting a message saying not allowed while driving. My last 2 Yukon's did this, as well as my GMC Terrain. But seems like once I'm driving I can't switch artists or songs or anything. Kinda causes you to pick up and look at your phone with is the least safe way to do it. Anyone else have this experience or is this user error?

 

You mean you can’t browse from your phone or the cue? My phone automatically connects to car play when I get in (if my music is playing on my phone). I change my music all the time on my phone and also from the joystick in the console. While driving or parked. Never gotten that message before. Hmmm.
