Seems to mostly be the grille and headlights. Personally, I like original stainless steel grille over the plastic mesh. The plastic just looks like every other Hyundai or Toyota on the road. The headlights now have an LED array which hopefully will improve the the light output.

Nothing really that new or exciting about the new 2020 XT5. I really had hoped for more appealing cosmetic changes... :suspense:

I agree, Marc. That's why I'm probably going to buy my '17 XT5 Platinum when the lease is up in May and drive it for a couple of years. I honestly think it is far more attractive than the '20 shown in the pictures. I also wonder if, with the new Y strategy, the Platinum is going away. That makes no sense to me unless the Premium Luxury can be optioned with the hand sewn Maple Sugar interior and very sharp looking rims. And even if it can, to me there is a prestige factor driving a Platinum :hmm:

Honestly I still think the XT5 is the best looking CUV on the market. When I first saw it I fell in love and I am lucky enough to be able to afford one.

Really glad they didn't ruin the lines or grill by forcing change for the sake of change!

Only improvement I can see is LED flashers in the side mirror covers, other than that I still think I am looking good with the '17 Premium AWD.
I noticed the turn signal indicators also.

I wonder though, if the pics we're seeing are for the Asian/European markets, where the turn signal indicators on the mirrors are standard. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought I read where that feature is required by law on new vehicles in every other market except the U.S. (This may or may not be correct...) but I'm pretty sure all the European XT5's have them as standard equipment.

If Cadillac doesn't put the turn signal indicators on the mirrors on all of the 2020 XT5's, they should be ashamed of themselves.
