If the XT4 does not have the heads-up display option, there should be a cap/cover for the
"hole" at the top of the dash made available. I have not been able to find anything. Anyone ?

If you don’t have the HUD option, the “hole” in the dash is for the Forward Collision Warning lights that reflect on the windshield if you are approaching another vehicle (or object) too fast. It’s a visual warning to brake/slow down immediately or correct your course.

The HUD also has this feature built in, and the pod that houses the projector is substantially larger than the smaller window on Cadillacs without the HUD option.

Actual HUD pod left, smaller LED warning light on non-HUD XT4 right.
