Just paid too much for this at CarMaximus. 35,000 original miles. Plan to do some hauling, around 7,000 lbs and will use a bluetooth trailer brake controller.

We've had several Caddys but this is our 1st SUV. Chose black because it's so easy to keep clean😁

Purchased a Platinum warranty plan through Knapp. Mighty happy to have it. I hope to feel the same in a couple months.

Unable to include a pic because it's my first post.

3,500 lb trailer and 3,600 lb cars. Anybody using the Curt bluetooth controller?

As I continue my journey down the rabbit hole...ding repairs will be completed today. I'll give my opinion of Dents 'n Ding's work when I see it.
I've decided to replace the windshield and that is scheduled tomorrow morning at our home. Quantrell Cadillac in Lexington, KY contracts with Rite Way Auto Glass. RW assures me the new windshield will work as intended with cruise, rain sense and HUD. I've read the myriad horror stories regarding windshield replacement.
I'll report on the final result and have pics of the process.

Here is my last car rescue. 1990 ZR-1 Corvette with 63 original miles. It was purchased new by a physician in TN, trailered to his home and parked...for the next 32 years. It was not started during that time.

...I can smell the interior from here.
😁

I spent months cleaning it. The results are so much better than I could've hoped. Once cleaned, it was trailered to Haibeck Automotive in Chi-town. Marc's shop is widely considered the finest second generation ZR-1 facility on earth. After returning to me, its components continue to function as new, in every regard. The dye has been cast as it won't receive any additional miles during my ownership but, will be an original 'as new' example for current and future Corvette enthusiasts.

Just returned after having spent two days on dings repair. I'm not the world's most talented photographer so I will just say...I am very impressed with the result. I'm a car guy and have had 'show' cars since my early twentys. Dents 'n Dings in Lexington, KY did a beautiful job of removing every blemish. Even on the dings I was certain would need paint repair, they are gone without a trace.
I'm happy!

*Add/Edit: Regarding the windshield, the tech arrived this morning with the replacement glass. Pilkington was observed on the lower corner but had no GM notation. We discussed it and agreed his company will try to secure an OEM piece of glass and reschedule the install.

**Further: Original windshield quote was $705 and now, with OEM glass ordered from the dealer, the price is $900 with installation. I am pleasantly surprised as I thought OEM would create a more significant increase.

I love low mileage cars. I'm sure I don't stand a chance of winning but, I'm high bidder for now...
