The 2018-2019 cars also have the option of rotating the HUD through the dash menu and steering wheel controls if it isn't sitting level-- can't make that adjustment in the 2016-2017, you can only position it up and down.
My 2017 has the capability to rotate the HUD.

Interesting. In the online owners manual for the 2017 GM doesn't state you can rotate the HUD through the cluster menu, but they do describe how to rotate the HUD through the cluster manual in the manual for the 2018-2019 cars.

Not the first time GM has made a mistake in the owner's manuals...

I bought a 2017 Black on Black manual transmission, 5,880 miles, CPO, 6 years 64,000 miles of GMPP warranty remaining. Luxury package appears to be the only option. It’ll be on it’s way to California next week.

Thanks for all the help!

Used cars are expensive right now, so I paid plenty but I expect $3,500 - $5,000 extra on the sale of my 2012 300 SRT8 so theres that.

Yeah, I stumbled upon it while cycling through the options and was very happy to see it because mine was not level and that was driving my nuts.

Bought mine in May for $44K, 2017 fully loaded A8. And I mean every option. 11,500 miles. This was the picture the day I brought it home.
