Newbie to forum. Have '14 CTS AWD Premium Sedan with leaking left front strut. No codes......Yet. I know the new OEM struts are $1400.00/pair. Anyone know of an electronic "sims" bypass? This allows use of any conventional strut. I know they make them for the C5 Corvette, but cant find anything for 3rd gen CTS. Anyone? Thank you.

I have a 2014 Vsport, a total of eight sensors that have to be defeated. One sensor at each corner for the mag ride shocks/struts and one sensor at each corner for the ride height sensors. It gets pricey.

Thank you. I have a 2000 C5 Corvette that has the mag ride. But I've been lucky; All 4 shocks/sensors are 20 years old, and no codes or leaks. Knock HARD-On a BIG piece of wood!!

HEY DID YOU EVER FIND STRUTS FOR THIS ISSUE? I JUST BOUGHT A 2014 CTS PREMIUM, HAVING STRUT IISSES. I HEAR THIS ISSUE IS QUITE EXPENSIVE...

I currently have a C7 with mag ride and have had 4 others with same (incl. my 911) and have never had an issue with the dampers (what I think you are calling struts). Some on the Corvette forum have had bad dampers but extremely rare. They can be found for 800-900 and not double that....

"Pricey" ?? For the Seville (2002.5 - 2004 STS series) bypassing the MRC F55 struts and shocks takes four 2 or 3 Ohm 5 Watt power resistors, one across each damper pigtail connector. Maybe a total of $2 at an electronics parts site.
