The touch screen does not respond. The radio is working just fine, and the steering wheel selection buttons work. Does anybody else have this problem?

Re: cadillad cue touch screen not working

The lower half of mine quit working about a year or so back. Had it replaced under warranty. Haven't had any trouble since. Hopefully you are still under warranty. I just looked up the part and GM parts online don't even have it listed as being available. Someone on EBay has a slightly used one for sale for 1500.00 bucks.

Re: cadillad cue touch screen not working

Mine went out a few days back.

:l

Apparently being out in the heat for too long can cause this issue.

You can reset your cue screen by...

1. turning on car
2. opening bay door.
3. turning car off (leave bay door open)
4. open car door and leave open for about 30 secs
5. close door, turn on car, and lower bay door.

Cue should restart and a small yellow symbol on top right hand corner should confirm this.

Didn't work for me unfortunately. :(

Re: cadillac cue touch screen not working

I'm having the same problem with my 2013 SRX. Tried the hard reset, worked the first time and went back to not responding to the touchscreen. I am at 52k, so I am out of warranty. Does anyone know if because it is a known problem that Cadillac will cover it

I think there is a good chance that you may be covered by the warranty.

Re: cadillac cue touch screen not working

Unless it is a recall Cadillac usually won't help if not under warranty.

:l

I hard reset mine and worked the first time for a few days and I do it every few days to make it work but since I have no warranty I will most likely have to purchase a new cue.

Hopefully I can retrofit the new cue with andriod auto on it.

:D

But doubtful... pfft.

Re: cadillac cue touch screen not working

Brought my SRX to the dealers for a $150 diagnostic test of my CUE system. They tried to up load the latest software and the CUE was still locked up. The Service Manager said you need a new radio control unit. It will cost $1,300, awesome I am at 52k and out of warranty. He did say because it is
so close that GM may pick up most of the cost and it will be $200 but he couldn't guarantee it. They had to order a new radio control unit. He wouldn't know until the new part came in and I brought my car back. So basically I go a car was for $150. Anyone from Cadillac that could help with this one
please message me.

Re: cadillac cue touch screen not working

This happened to both my '13 SRX and just recently to my '14 ATS......had the SRX fixed under warranty but never got the car back because I traded it in on my V-Sport while they were still working on it in February and I just got my ATS back brand new radio installed, and that car is going away either next month or the month after.....had a nice XT5 loaner...it was fun to have something different for a week....but it solidified my wife's choice to get a CTS

Re: cadillac cue touch screen not working

I'm having that issue with my touch screen in a 2013 SRX. Fortunately I purchased an extended warranty when I bought the vehicle. I called the dealership and they said it should be covered. I'm taking it in Wednesday, and they are getting me a loaner. Hopefully, it won't take weeks to repair, as I have a cross country road trip starting in early February, and I can not cancel it without costs.

Re: cadillac cue touch screen not working

Yup, mine is doing the same thing... right after the warranty expired. Has anyone been success fixing this by removing fuses or disconnecting the battery? This is so frustrating having a luxury car where the touch screen is non-functional... any suggestions beside dropping 1200 plus on this?

disconnecting the battery does not work, just tried that. Took 3 days for the cue to recognize a touch and got the time changed. 90% of the time the cue does not recognize a touch. Luckily as others have said, the steering button works and the buttons on the door below work or I would be screwed. Mine also screws up the presets. Not a happy camper.

WOW! Great deal! What's the catch? Has anyone purchased this?
100%Original new OEM Cadillac ATS CTS SRX XTS CUE TouchSense Replacement Touch Screen Displayrom
And, if you can't do it yourself, dealer could install it for you. On sale for $275.50!

Thinking about buying one and storing it away for when my car is out of warranty. Unless they have a shelf life?

I ran into a lot of issues with my 2014 ATS. After fighting with GM about it, I moved into a 2016 CTS. My CUE (2016 CTS) screen developed vertical cracks on the left and right edges and stopped functioning properly. It was replaced under warranty before the car was even 1 year old. Now, the CUE system is locking up and will only reset after the car sits off for a good amount of time. It is very disappointing that a GM flagship brand has so many problems. I haven't even reported the latest issues to the dealership as they would run diagnostics (as they have before) and find no issues. I have just started taking pictures and documenting the number of failures. I do not have plans to keep this car after the warranty runs out.

My wife's 2013 XTS4 touch screen had an issue on the lower row of buttons for about 3 months. This past weekend the entire screen quit working. I tried the reset shown above in this string. This did not work or did it act like it reset. I have seen other places that the touch screen that cover the display is the issue and can be purchased on Ebay for about $500. This car has 60K on it and we loved it until we had past the warrantee. Struts went bad front and rear(shocks).. Less than 60K and I see many have had the same issue with the BWI components. Now the CUE system is crap. We cant control anything in the car. I hate to say it but we looked at the A7 and should have gone that way for a long term (100K miles) car. So sad. I wanted to buy American. (even if built in Mexico)

Re: cadillac cue touch screen not working

I have a 2013 SRX and my CUE system just went dead. The wife and I bought this used and it's just out of warranty at like 56k. I tried the reset and it didn't work, I have a new relay fuse coming - Has anyone else had any luck getting this fixed other than have the entire system replaced!!?? Please help, I'm desperate!!
