After the car sits for about 24 hrs, upon starting the A/C blows hot but after the car runs for about 15 minutes while driving the A/C starts to cool and after a couple minutes it blows cold. If I stop the car for 2 to 12 hrs the A/C will be normal upon startup; not have to wait 15 minutes. Any ideas or advice before I take it to the dealership? I can live with this problem but other members of my family refuse to be hot for any length of time. thank, rrw

Check if electric cooling fan on radiator operates properly.

The system could be icing up due to a low charge, the orifice tube could be blocked by ice or debris. Put a set of gauges on it and check the pressures.

Yesterday eve it took about 25 minutes to get cold and then after I reset the cue (not sure if that had the effect.) Then I turned a/c Off after parking the car and let it run for a minute or so when I started it 24 hrs later; (before turning a/c on) This time it took the normal time to cool. So still testing.
