Anyone having a problem with the driver seat in in 2012 CTS-V not moving back or forward but the others buttons work? Dealership worked on it twice, New floor track installed, Worked for a week now same problem is back.

Take it back. They should warranty the work you paid for.

Agree!

Suspect: loose connection, faulty connector, partially broken wire, dead spot in motor rotation, poor fuse contact. It could also be an intermittent controller. Switches, including relay contacts, are always suspect.

Those kinds of intermittent problems are often difficult for highly skilled electrical and electronic techs. to find. They tend to go away and then almost always return.

FYI, that little electrical connector in the front of your seat is often a problem. If you sit in your seat, take your right foot and bring it straight back to your seat where the carpet comes up under the front of your seat. Reach down and feel for a little "block" and that is the connector. These tend to get corroded and therefore have bad electrical continuity.

Took it to the dealer three times, Works for a few days and stops, Thanks for replying.

Hey everyone, Thanks for replying to my post, The dealer finally figured out what the problem was with me seat, I'm happy to report that it's working at last, Thanks again to everyone for their suggestion, Especially to tinman who said take it back to the dealer.
