Sounds pretty sweet! I love Borla exhaust because you don't get that annoying drone on the highways. It is pretty steep but worth every penny.

I did the Borla axle back install yesterday. Got the same results as G-Money. Love the deep rumble at idle. More aggressive at cruising with no drone and a blast at WOT. Parts and labor (with a generous discount) cost me $600. Worth every penny. K&N CAI goes in next week.

Yes you can, if you install E&G Classic CTS Coupe EGX Exhaust tip and rear valance mesh accent kit Part 5122-1900-11E Not cheap, but looks like a V bumper

 

I see there is also an axle back exhaust 11823, just wondering what the difference is? This is basically just muffler swaps right?

 

Yes, the axle back is just replacement mufflers, much cheaper than whole cat (aka catalytic converter) back and similar effect. I recently went axle back with duel magnaflows for $500, best money I've spent on the car.....sounds amazing...

Would like to hear it to see the difference between MagnaFlow and the Borla, post a video!!

 

Having a hard time posting video w iPad, if you message me your email address I can send the video direct (have done that for a couple other members) I've seen videos of Borla and would like to compare in person myself. Unfortunately, video can't capture the bass you feel....magnaflow is not loud, but a deep purr at idle and cruising speeds. Perfect for me, literally get excited when it's time to start her up. I'm sure Borla is similar, and there are many great reviews, but after watching a few videos the Borla sounded slightly higher pitched to me i.e. Import-ish vs. a slightly deeper Americana growl from magnaflow. Both sound great, more of a personal preference, but that was just my observation from videos. In person I've only heard the magnaflow, and again, couldn't be happier....best $500 I've spent on the car....

I live in Little Rock, AR, so this was where I went. Don't know the part number, but I do know the in/out are on the same side (inside) of can. May take a while for me to create a YouTube channel but I'll post a pic of mufflers for you. I have a 13 coupe so the duels are in middle of bumper, unlike sedan. You can probably call them (or anyone specializing in performance exhaust) and get the correct part # for your vehicle.

One suggestion, order the actual mufflers from jeggs or somewhere online once you know part #, then just take parts to local muffler shop for install. I didn't do this but could have saved another $100 or so after another member posted about it.

There is nothing on the market that has the sound of the Borla, I have on two different brands and they both sound great.

 

Yes, other than labor (and cans) it included two hangers. No tips or anything

Who sells the Borla axleback the cheapest? I have a 2012 AWD CTS Coupe. Thanks guys. Sounds great! I had a borla axleback on a 5.0 Mustang and it sounded incredible.

Im curious if cutting is needed for the borlas or are they a direct bolt on part?
