I am looking to replace my idler pulley as the bearing is no good. It seems that the one middle bolt is not enough to remove the pulley or bracket. I do see 2 more bolts for the bracket but one is located behind the power steering pump pulley. Do I need to remove the steering pump for this idler pulley replacement ?

yes, go to an auto parts store, O'rielly or Auto zone and they will loan you the puller.

Silly that they didn't align the holes in that pulley to line up with the last tensioner bolt.

With the belt removed there should be some way to loosen the power steering pump in order to clear it. I don't recall the process, but I was able to loosen and remove the pump without a pulley puller during an engine tear down and believe I recall reading that you can also work around the pump in removing the timing cover for timing chain replacement, although I removed the pulley. Which ever is easiest for you.
