It has to be programmed with the proper VIN. Why would you want to use this antiquated GPS anyway?

No, you really don't want the original circa 2006 GPS.

If you have an HD radio it should be a straight forward swap... If you do NOT have the HD and just the base radio it would be a PITA and better off going with an aftermarket setup with separate amplifier.

Yeah at this point I think I'm gunna go with the after market even though it's like 700$
Worth it.

The pop up Nav screen was the gen 2's killer app and it worked amazingly well the entire 13 years I had my 2010. I had no complaints whatsoever. Would I go to the expense and bother of transplanting one into a nav-less car today? Nope.

Welcome to the forum. This is a great bunch here and the gen 2s are great cars.

You guys are appreciate all the input I have the 2010 cts4 performance model eventually wanna get a ctsV
Save your dollars, it is well worth it.
