Now that that's out of the way call the dealer with your vin and they should confrim extended coverage for timing chain failure.

In any case, as long as you keep the oil level up and change it every 5K-6K miles or so, timing chain issues are less common but still possible. I have 80K miles on my 2008 w/o issue. BadCad is brutally honest when it comes to the 3.6 faults. I have owned mine for seven years and it has been the best car I have ever owned. I would buy it again in a heartbeat.
