Recently purchased an '09 CTS and I couldn't be happier. I got the premium sound package and I have a couple questions about the 8" subwoofer.
First, the plastic surround for the sub is rattling anytime I play music. Yes, I prefer my tunes loud, but it rattles even at lower levels... Anywhere I can tighten that down or any recommendations for padding I could stuff around the plastic that may help?
Second, and more important, I feel like the sub doesn't catch all the frequencies it should be... I'm an av tech by trade and it sounds like the crossover is set too low. Anyone know where the processing unit is in the car? I couldn't find any options for it in the radio unit up front, so I'm assuming it's somewhere in the trunk nearby the battery, but I haven't been able to find it.
