I’m new to the forum and interested in recommendations for replacement tires. My car has less than 19,000 miles and has the original Pirelli’s. The car is stored winters and only driven in nice weather. I liked the ride of the Pirelli’s but am interested in others opinions.

I just picked up an 06 base model with 16800 miles. I didn't have the pleasure of riding the Pirelli's but I the have Firestone Firehawks AS. No complaints at all. They were selected by a wonderful little place in Sanborn Iowa called Sampson Corvettes. One of the original tires had a loose belt so they felt this was good replacement tire. I have to agree. They are not run flats and they are M+S, kind of the norm for where we live but the XLR will never see snow...

Good luck,
Dickee
