yes, it's called a StealthV tune, and $10,000 of bolt-onsB Hoth said:Just a regular CTS owner here, but I was at the dealer yesterday looking into all our new goodies and he told me there is an ECU unit coming for you guy's that will allow you to get that 500 hp from that unit. Sketchy details at this point, but the parts guy has seen the info. If I catch anything more (part# & price) I'll let you know.
shouldnt have told me that :lildevil:. actually, i was gonna do a new thread but i think ill save space and just ask here... my buddies dad has a V and he is wanting to do some upgrades. with all the money he saved from buying it he has alot of options in which to buy stuff. so my question is, can you list upgrades for more ponnies and link the site, he just bought a Maggie exhaust but other than that, i dont know. any help would be appreciated.urbanski said:heh, all my $ is in my car![]()

Maggie is an intake device :thepan:
Actually, some people on the SCCA forum say the race car V is not like the street version V at all. They concentrate on fender height. One Mustang driver espeically got very pissed off when I mentioned the race car is based on the street version. Of course they usually finished towards the end of the pack and a certain Mustang also had its firewall moved aft. They also couldn't comprehend that the SCCA mandated tires wouldn't fit in the stock Vs wheel wells.heavymetals said:I was figuring on that date (09), and that is fine with me as that is when I have to start thinking about smog certification stuff.
I don't want to buy the first year either.
Although it turns out that that just because you buy a "next years model" doesn't necessarilly mean that you are getting a "next years model". :thepan:
It all depends on how serious Cadillac is about the "V" series and developing and supporting the market.
I would have thought I would have seen more ads for the CTS and the V now that Cadillac has a proven winner.
Then again, the V is a specialty car.
