I've about had it up to here with this car...driving to work the other day, in my 2008 CTS 4 (appx 75,000 miles) and heard a loud pop. I lost power to the rear wheels and spent just about the entire day being towed and getting home. Now my car is at the dealership and they're quoting just under $4,000 to fix the transmission output shaft and the transfer case input shaft. My car isn't on an extended warranty and this is the second multi-thousand dollar repair in under three months. Anyone have experience with this? It doesn't seem like the parts are all that expensive, is it the labor? Wondering what my options are...

-Thanks
