Hey welcome!!!
I am doing the same thing as you.......i just wired them through the seat like this:
on the back of the seats; pull up the middle piece from the bottom and there are 2 clips on the bottom 2 clips on the right side and 2 clips on the left side; the clips pop right out just make sure you pull the piece up hard, makes the process easier!

That is what I have and it works great....I have no idea with your monitor not getting power...I would trace the wires and see if you have a cut somewhere...if not calling the manufacture of the monitors would be your best bet.

I took it to the dealer and they first said they were aftermarket. I told them they are not aftermarket and we got them installed after. They said it's out of warranty and we can't repair it .

Hello all,
I too am new to the group and need some help!!

I have the factory NAV/radio/camera on my 07 ESV. DVD's play great as long as I'm parked, there are no other monitors in the vehcile. I'd like to have a pair of dual monitors installed that will work off of the Factory module. I'm not sure why the previous owner did not have them installed at the factory, but I'll need to get it done...my preference is for the overhead not the headrest monitor, and I don't want to install any players, since the factory one works fine

Please advise....
