You would need Cal Emissions..
Scott,

As a salesperson selling GM vehicles, you should know this. You can even contact GM and verify this.

ALL 2001 AND LATER GM VEHICLES ARE 50 STATE EMISSION LEGAL!!

I have purchased roughly 5 new GM vehicles out of the state of California since 2001 that did not have the California emissions ordering code (RPO YF5)when the vehicles were built. At the DMV inspection and smog check, all GM vehicles that I registered here in California passed with flying colors and were able to be licensed with no problem.

You can sell to those of us in California with no worries.

I hope this helps you sell more Cadillacs!

As a Sales Person I know my vehicles.. Anyone with parts look up knows there is differnt parts on the exhaust as in Cats, PCM and emission plumbing as well as the calibration..

There are some vehicles in the cadillac line up that are 50 state cars, Escalade, STS, STS-V XLR-V and CTS-V are not.

You can look that up online through GM and other people have had trouble with that before. Some states require it to have 7500 miles on it before you can submit it for tags and title. I know Cali, Maine, Mass, and New York well..

Try telling this to their DMV...
