I rotate my tires every 2500 to 3000 miles to prevent this from happening to the front tires, but then again I have different tires for the winter and summer, and with two Escalade's I do not have enough miles on any one set of tires to see any wear, at least yet.
2007 Escalade Alignment Issue with OEM 22" Wheels...
When I first got my wife her 2007 Escalade, I noticed that the alignment was off from the factory, so I had the dealer align the front end at 400 miles. Everything seemed fine until about a month ago when I noticed the front tires were wearing very badly on the inner edges which was at about 11,000 miles. I rotated the tires the first time at 4,000 miles when I did the first oil change.
I took the car in and they said the alignment was way off and fixed it according to the dealer. They rotated the badly worn tires to the rear of the car before they aligned it so that the tires with more tread are now on the front.
Now at 13,500 miles, I am noticing the same thing starting to happen again. Both front tire inner edges seem to be wearing out like before although the tread hasn't gone to a slick like they were before, but I am sure it will happen again and it is just a matter of time.
Does anyone else have this issue? If so, what did the dealer do to fix it?
Any info would be very helpful. Thanks in advance.

Good luck, if youve got a hard to trace alignment issue, you may NEVER be able to get it fixed properly. My 03 has been pulling to the right since I got it YET it aligns PROPERLY and well within spec wherever I take it, the best they have been able to do is throw the caster out more on the right side than the left but it still pulls somewhat. Only thing Ive got left to check is the wheel bearing, though I dont think that would cause so much bias to the right.
I hope your issue is easier to solve, the tires shouldnt be wearing that quickly.

It takes someone good and good equipment, just having a good alignment machine does not mean you have a clue how to use it, I found out several years ago the hard way, used a shop with brand new top end equipment, and had all kind of alignment issues.
Well, hopefully someone will get it right. Ive been to multiple shops now with the same results. Even after accounting for common alignment shop mistakes such as "steering wheel turned slightly while on the machine", "car put on the lift wrong" and a few of the other common mistakes alignment shop newbies make, its still not right.It takes someone good and good equipment, just having a good alignment machine does not mean you have a clue how to use it, I found out several years ago the hard way, used a shop with brand new top end equipment, and had all kind of alignment issues.
The frame is apparently fine, so somethings screwed up in the steering gear that isnt showing up on the printout spec.
Since I had two different GM dealers align the car and paid for the second one, should GM replace all 4 tires under warranty due to their incompetent dealerships?

It would be tough to get them to buy it... but it is worth a shot since they are really trying to improve their customer service image now. I already have a great relationship with Cadillac customer assistance because of my 2007 STS-V's steering vibration issue. I will bring it up to her and see if she will get the ball rolling because of the dealerships, all four tires are wearing badly on the inner edges.It would be tough to get them to buy it... but it is worth a shot since they are really trying to improve their customer service image now.
