I recently bought a 2007 escalade, and I noticed in the center console, there is a round hole with a 2 wire connector coming out.

Does anyone have any idea what this might be for? It didn't have any manuals, but I didn't see anything in the online manual.

Thanks,

-Derek

There should be one 12v power point in the center console, up on the passenger side back wall of the console. It's possible that the socket itself fell out and is missing, unless it's another hole besides the 12v.

That makes sense, it is a circle, so it is probably supposed to be a power adapter. I'll have to order one, thanks so much for your help.

I have a 2002 Escalade with a power adapter located in the center console. It is currently on a "constant 12V" circuit. I would like to change it to a "switched 12V" circuit. Any ideas?
