I purchased the 2007 DTS in 2015. It was in mint condition with only 22K miles. It had a small round mark on the seat. Two days ago I noticed marks on the back of the driver’s seat. They were made by my suspender metal clasps. I have since wrapped the clasps in Velcro.
I did try Mother’s VLR but it did not work. In fact, it seems to have made it worse.
The seats are cooled and heated and according to VIN the leather is light titanium color.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to restore the leather? Looking forward to any advice. Thanks.

I replied to another identical post the other day. It doesn't' look like it was moved so...
Meguirs Leather Cleaner/Conditioner, a stiff brush and then wipe it off.
Thanks for your reply. I thought I posted a few days ago but could not find it this morning so I posted again. I did not receive a notice of your reply from several days ago. Sorry!
After searching on YouTube I found a video by Seat Doctors. Excellent! Also waiting on a reply from Creative Colors International, a local company, on a quote. I really don’t want to make it worse. Thanks for your suggestion though.
PS when I applied Mother’s VLR to a small portion it turned dark. So I guess enough of the surface was exposed to show rawhide. After a few hours the rawhide dried making it a lighter color. Looks like it will need a dye to cover it. I’ll post the remedy when complete. Thanks again!

Unfortunately the color is scratched off. Dying it is the only option if you want to keep the leather. Replacement seat covers show up on eBay every once in awhile.

I removed some foam from my seat cushion (the inner bulges) and discovered the entrance chamber for the cool air had partially collapsed, which was making the thing not work well and then shut off after an hour or so. Propped it open with some stiff packing foam and heavy cardboard on top.
