Hey everyone, What do you think is a fair price for a 2007 CTS V with 29,500 miles in very good condition. It is a super rare sunroof delete car and all original paint with only a minor scratch, a few stone chips and a little curb rash on three of the wheels. It has almost new Hankook Ventis tires along with a spare tire set up. It also has CAGS and an ipod interface. Mobil one every 3,500 miles. Any ideas?

It's mine and I'm just trying to price it fairly to sell it. Funny, I wouldn't buy a V with a sunroof. The car is stiffer, lighter and will never leak.

I replaced the 2007 today with a new 2011 V manual and you guess it - sunroof delete.

Private or Dealer? . . . $27k to $30k. If it is a Cadillac Dealer, and the car is eligible, get it 'Cadillac Certified' to 100k miles.

late post - - nevermind . . . . lower for private sale.

So you're not much of a convertible guy then? ;)

If it's in really good condition, I'd probably ask at least $27K for it...

I actually have five convertibles so there really is no reason to cut a hole in a perfectly good roof panel, is there?

The 2007 is privately owned by me so I guess somewhere around $25,500.00 should move it on out. It's been a wonderful trouble free car.

Oops, I thought you were a buyer, not a seller. That is a very fair price..

A sunroof can be a costly surprise. One of the metal arms broke in mine and I didn't even use it often.. The single part wasn't sold separately and the whole unit was something like $1100. Add labor on top of that if you can't install yourself..

Yeah that is a great price. Someone would be luck to pick it up for that. I wish I had a sunroof delete car.... I'm tall and the extra wind noise isn't to my liking. I'm not sure how I'm going to fit with a helmet.

Is there any warranty left on yours? Congrats on the 2011.

The car is out of warranty but I must say, this has been the most reliable car I have ever owned. I have not had it in the shop for anything since I do all of the routine maintenance myself.

I bought a new 2011 because the 2007 was and is a great car.

If you're not in a rush to sell it, there is no reason not to start high. There is a buyer for every car, and if they want it, they'll be willing to pay more for it.

Just curious...how many sunroof deletes did GM make? Was it an option from the factory...or the lack there of i should say?

What color is this car? I'm tall and could use the extra room deleting the sunroof would make.

I think there were somewhere around 46 cars with sunroof delete in 06-07 combined.

Well, I think you guys might be right about $25,500.00 being a little low but that's fine with me. It's still more than the dealer would give and I feel ok with that kind of money. If this car lasts until Monday I'll be very surprised.

There has been a ton of interest in it which is great. Someone is going to get a great car at a very fair price.

That's an exceptionally fair price.. Especially considering it probably has a little B2B warranty, and probably close to a year of power-train warranty left. I'd have started the listing at $29k myself. These cars aren't so plentiful in classified listings that a potential buyer would be discouraged from inquiring simply by the advertised price alone (unless of course it's insanely overpriced) . Bottom line is, if someone is really interested (and there will be), they'll inquire...

It may be rare, but there's no way I'd buy a V without a sunroof!
yep I roll with the rear cracked to be extra fly.

"nice aftermarket imitation grille--you forgot to copy this"
