Do you know if the procedure is the same for the 2006?I've done it what do you want to know. Just the basics are undo the shifter, drop the exhaust and driveshaft, undo the steering shaft at the rack, take out the back 2 engine cradle bolts and loosen the front 2 , undo the trans support and slowly lower the rear of the engine cradle 2 inches. Then take out all the housing bolts external torx e14. Rotate the trans clockwise and its out. Take the heater hoses loose at the firewall too before you lower anything, the factory shop manual doesn't mention that. Get a ratcheting e14 wrench too. Lots of extensions and at least 6 jack stands. Huge pain, especially the heater hose pipe assembly that must come off the block to get a bolt out, starter comes off too. You really can't resurface the dual mass flywheel and shouldn't its probably worn out so figure a new flywheel, mine was bad too.

It's hard to tell for sure, from across the interwebs, but the symptoms sound like a faulty clutch. Either the part is failing or the install was incorrect.New clutch kit and rear end can feel all 6gears engaging but for some reason car isn't moving driveshaft isn't turning at all any Ideals
